Another season at AST as come to a close, and we are sad to see it go! Four amazing productions took the stage on the UCA campus and across the state of Arkansas, bringing together artists from around the country to create exciting artistic work for our community.  Thank you for coming out and supporting us! We'll hold our "Season Reveal Party" on October 4 and announce what's in store for our 13th year! 

Unfortunately, due to severe thunderstorms with more in the forecast we have had to cancel tonight's performance of THE WINTER'S TALE. There are no future performances of this show, but tickets are still available for MY FAIR LADY tomorrow night at 7:30 pm and HENRY IV PART ONE Sunday at 2 pm.  

Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre’s 12th season production of Henry IV, Part One  will open June 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus.

Rebekah Scallet, AST’s producing artistic director, said she was “excited for our audiences to see this wonderful story, full of laughter, swordplay, and a timeless story of fathers and sons.”

Featuring many familiar faces, and a lot of new ones, AST once again has put together an ensemble of talented artists from across the U.S. and right here in Arkansas to be a part of our 2018 season.  Learn more about the full company here

The lineup for the June 8-July 8 season, which explores the theme of transformation, includes Shakespeare classics The Winter’s Tale; Henry IV, Part One; and a family adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, as well as Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady. All four 2018 shows feature characters who undergo major changes — some for the better and others, perhaps, for the worst.
