Thanks for making Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre's 2017 season a truly special one. Our 11th season saw AST grow once again, with record-breaking attendance. This summer offered a wide variety of entertainments, as we struggled with cupid's "dreadful little might" in Love's Labour's Lost, "let slip the dogs of war" in Julius Caesar, found "Trouble" in River City in Meredith Willson's The Music Man, and saw how Petruchio and Kat...
With the opening of The Taming of the Shrew at Reynolds Performance Hall, the last of our four productions this season has begun! It will run in rep with Julius Caesar and Meredith Willson's The Music Man, also in Reynolds. Meanwhile, just down Donaghey Avenue on the lawn in front of McAlister Hall, we are continuing performances of Shakespeare's romantic comedy, Love's Labour's Lost.
Due to the bad weather earlier today, we unfortunately have to cancel tonight's outdoor performance of LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST. Be sure to make plans to join us for one of our remaining performances: June 25, June 29, July 2, July 4, and July 7. Questions? Call 501-852-0702.
We are very pleased to announce the incredible line-up of talented actors from across the country and right here in Arkansas joining us for this season's festival. The full list is below, but a few highlights are:
