Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre announces youth auditions for our 2018 summer season, including roles in My Fair Lady and The Winter’s Tale as well as the opportunity to participate in The Groundlings Company. Any interested young actors between the ages 8 to 17 are encouraged to audition.

​Thanks for making Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre's 2017 season a truly special one. Our 11th season saw AST grow once again, with record-breaking attendance. This summer offered a wide variety of entertainments, as we struggled with cupid's "dreadful little might" in Love's Labour's Lost, "let slip the dogs of war" in Julius Caesar, found "Trouble" in River City in Meredith Willson's The Music Man, and saw how Petruchio and Kat...

With the opening of The Taming of the Shrew at Reynolds Performance Hall, the last of our four productions this season has begun!  It will run in rep with Julius Caesar and Meredith Willson's The Music Man, also in Reynolds. Meanwhile, just down Donaghey Avenue on the lawn in front of McAlister Hall, we are continuing performances of Shakespeare's romantic comedy, Love's Labour's Lost.
