Ann Cooley to direct The Music Man


Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre is excited to announce that Ann Cooley will be joining us as the Director and Choreographer for Meredith Willson's The Music Man. Cooley is taking over for DJ Salisbury, who was previously announced. She has worked with Salisbury on several productions, as well as had substantial directing, choreography, and performance experience herself, including several years as a member of the Radio City Rockettes.

Other credits include: Victor/Victoria (National Tour); The Will Rogers Follies (National Tour, Music Circus, Gateway, Arrow Rock, Merry Go Round, and The Barn - starring Tom Wopat); Gordon Penn's Into the Zone and Disarm (Columbia University); The Meth in Method, I Don't Know (Nylon Fusion, NYC); Cowboy Cut (T. Schreiber Studio NYC); Peter Pan & Little Shop of Horrors (Theatre By The Sea); The Today Show; USO; Menhattans (Carnegie Hall & Lincoln Center); Baby Steps, My Man, The Future Freaks Me Out (original devised concepts); White Christmas, Damn Yankees, and Leading Ladies.
