Thanks for making Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre's 2017 season a truly special one. Our 11th season saw AST grow once again, with record-breaking attendance. This summer offered a wide variety of entertainments, as we struggled with cupid's "dreadful little might" in Love's Labour's Lost, "let slip the dogs of war" in Julius Caesar, found "Trouble" in River City in Meredith Willson's The Music Man, and saw how Petruchio and Kate were "madly mated" in The Taming of the Shrew. Shrew also toured across the state to nine different venues, part of our effort to make Shakespeare and live theatre accessible to all Arkansans.
AST continues to make our mark on the cultural landscape in Conway and central Arkansas, sharing in the joy and power of Shakespeare's work, and the delight of classic musicals such as The Music Man. We'll announce the 2018 season at our Fall Membership Party in October, and be back on stage in June 2018. Hope to see you then!
