Poignant and playful, brilliant and biting, the ground-breaking work of playwright Terrence McNally crackles through five decades of American theatre. He is a writer equally willing to challenge an audience’s view of the past and open them to the possibilities of the future. He has received Tony Awards for his plays Love! Valour! Compassion! and Master Class, and his books for the musicals Kiss of the Spider Woman and Ragtime.

AST is excited to welcome this groundbreaking author to the UCA campus for a residency December 2-4. On December 3, McNally will be the guest of honor at an intimate cocktail party at the elegant UCA President's House. The event will begin at 5:30 pm, and at 7:30 pm all attendees are welcome to attend McNally's public lecture, "A Writer's Life in the Theatre." Tickets to this event are limited, so be sure to get yours in advance!

Tickets are $100 each, and will include appetizers and wine to be served at the event, as well as a reserved parking spot for the lecture. All proceeds raised will benefit Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre’s tenth season!
